About the Author:

Simon Mugford is a British author and editor specializing in children's literature. He studied history at Goldsmiths College before working at the Science Museum in London, where he engaged children with activities like making paper airplanes and creating giant bubbles. Simon's writing covers a range of topics appealing to young readers, including dinosaurs, robots, rockets, and sports. He is best known for co-creating the "Football Superstars" series, which provides engaging biographies of renowned football players. An avid Ipswich Town fan since their 1978 FA Cup victory, Simon lives in Kent with his wife, daughter, a cat, and two tortoises.
