Anna has just lost her taste for the Big Apple She has a life to envy. An apartment in New York. A well-meaning (too well-meaning?) partner. And a high-flying job in beauty PR. Who wouldnt want all that? Anna, it turns out. Trading a minor midlife crisis for a major life event, she switches the skyscrapers of Manhattan for the tiny Irish town of Maumtully (population 1,217), helping old friends Brigit and Colm set up a luxury coastal retreat. Tougher than it sounds. Newflash: the locals hate the idea. So much so, there have been threats and violence. Anna, however, worked in the beauty industry. Theres no ugliness she hasnt seen. No wrinkle she cant smooth over. Theres just one fly in the ointment old flame Joey Armstrong. Hes going to be her wingman. Never mind their chequered history. Never mind what might have been. Because no matter how far you go, your mistakes will still be waiting for you...[Bokinfo].

About the Author:

Marian Keyes is the undisputed queen of smart, sparkly fiction that goes straight for the heart—and often takes the funny bone along for the ride. With her signature blend of humor, heartbreak, and hope, Marian has a way of writing about life’s messiest, most human moments with warmth, wit, and fierce honesty.

From Rachel’s Holiday to Grown Ups, her stories are filled with relatable women, complicated families, and issues that matter—like addiction, loss, love, and starting over. She makes you laugh out loud one minute, cry the next, and somehow leaves you feeling seen, understood, and just a little stronger.

If you love fiction that’s full of heart and hilarity, with characters you’ll want to text after the final chapter—Marian Keyes is your new best literary friend.
