Shadow Work for the Soul Searcher is the ultimate beginner's guide to getting started with Shadow Work, Practical and straightforward, it blends the quietly spiritual with the everyday as it demonstrates how to unlock your true potential through working with your shadows. Shadow Work for the Soul Searcher encompasses various aspects of shadow work, without relying exclusively on Jungian theory, making it a more accessible ? and enjoyable ? way to engage with the subject without ever being overwhelming, despite diving deep into the topic.
The ultimate goal of shadow work is to help you identify and manage the dark and emotional side of your personality ? the parts of yourself that may be unconsciously triggered by seemingly innocuous comments, or perceived slights. By working with your shadow you learn to accept and live with the parts of yourself that may be making your life seem harder than it needs to. By taking a no-nonsense, yet still compassionate, approach, author Polly Pollock walks readers through the stages of shadow work that will lead to the most fulfilling personal development, where the reader feels empowered to embrace their shadow selves and move through the world as their authentic selves. Inspiring and hopeful, Shadow Work for the Soul Searcher is for anyone who is looking for greater understanding of themselves and the people around them.
