We deliver throughout South Africa and Southern Africa, and ship internationally to most countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Europe.
International Shipping

Rates: international shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, parcel weight and destination region.

Customs duties and import taxes: these are calculated and charged at checkout, so the total you pay includes them and nothing is due on delivery.

Dispatch: international orders are dispatched within 3–7 working days. Delivery times after dispatch vary by country and courier.

Returns: we do not accept returns or exchanges on international orders.

Tracking: you’ll receive a tracking number by email once your parcel is collected.

There are so many options, I'm not sure what to choose!
- Ready-to-Ship Items: Dispatched from our warehouse within 1 to 3 business days.
- Special Order Items: Custom-ordered from our supplier and dispatched within 5 to 7 business days.
📦 Important Note for Mixed Orders:
If your order contains a combination of ready-to-ship and special-order items, the entire order will be held and shipped together within 5 to 7 business days (the longest lead time applies).
Need your ready-to-ship items sooner? Please place two separate orders.
Courier Orders
Once your parcel has been collected you will receive an email confirming that your order is on its way. This email includes your tracking number and a link to track your delivery progress on the relevant courier's website.
Bob Box Click-and-Collect
When you shop online, you can opt to have your parcel delivered to a Bob Box locker during checkout. After your parcel is delivered, you have 48 hours to pick it up from your chosen location. To find out more, go to https://www.bobbox.co.za/how-it-works/

Branch Collection
In-store collection available within 5 to 10 working days
Select the Pick Up option at checkout and choose your closest Reader's Warehouse branch

Once your order is complete and has arrived at your chosen Reader's Warehouse store, one of our friendly book enthusiasts will be in touch.
Please take note that we will only hold your order for a period of 1 MONTH at your selected store. If you haven't collected after 1 month, it will be returned to the head office, and your account will be credited with the amount of your order.
NB: If you decide to have your order couriered to you after it's been delivered to your chosen store for pick-up, you will be charged an additional courier fee.
