The Snail and the Whale

Here's another great Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler collaboration. Lots of adventurous fun showing that, no matter your size, you can make a big difference and that sometimes you have to let go of the familiar to explore your world. When the whale becomes stranded on a beach, the tiny snail shows his love and courage and travels to find help for him . The story also offers an opportunity for the reader to discuss the delicate balances in nature, and something like boat propellers and noise can endanger the ocean wildlife. A well paced story that will hold interest and with great illustrations
