About the Author:
Dav Pilkey is the master of mayhem, the sultan of silliness, and the creative genius behind Captain Underpants and Dog Man! With a wild imagination and a love for all things goofy, Dav has turned doodles, jokes, and epic battles between good and evil (and sometimes toilets) into a reading revolution for kids around the world.
As a kid, Dav was always getting into trouble at school—doodling in class, making up hilarious comic books, and dreaming of superhero adventures. Lucky for us, he never stopped! Now, he’s a bestselling author and illustrator whose books are packed with laughs, heart, and just the right amount of gross-out humour to make kids howl with laughter.
His stories celebrate creativity, kindness, and being unapologetically yourself—whether you’re a dog-headed cop, a boy in tighty-whities, or a mischievous lunch lady robot. And for reluctant readers? Dav’s books are the gateway drug to loving stories for life.
If you believe reading should be fun, fearless, and full of flip-o-ramas, Dav Pilkey is your superhero—cape, crayons, and all.
