About the Author:
Andy Griffiths is one of Australia’s best-loved and funniest children’s authors, known for writing the kind of books that make kids (and grown-ups) laugh out loud!
Born in Melbourne in 1961, Andy didn’t start out as a writer—he was actually a rock band singer before switching to writing stories full of wild ideas, weird adventures, and plenty of bum jokes.
He’s the mastermind behind the hilarious "Just!" series, the outrageous "The Day My Bum Went Psycho", and the mega-popular "Treehouse" books, which he creates with his equally wacky illustrator sidekick, Terry Denton. Together, they've built a treehouse that keeps growing—adding everything from a chocolate waterfall to a ninja snail training academy!
Andy’s books have sold millions of copies, won loads of awards, and been turned into stage shows and TV series. He’s also a big supporter of getting kids into reading and works with foundations that help bring books to kids who need them most.
If you're after silly stories, wild adventures, and a LOT of laughs—Andy Griffiths is your guy!
It is a lovely, entertaining book of short stories that were very entertaining. My class loved the stories.
