About the Author:
Stephen King is the undisputed King of Horror, the maestro of nightmares, and the man responsible for millions of readers sleeping with the lights on. With a typewriter as his weapon and a mind full of monsters, Stephen has been scaring (and delighting) readers for decades with stories that are as chilling as they are impossible to put down.
From haunted hotels (The Shining) to creepy clowns in the sewer (It), from telekinetic teens (Carrie) to small towns with very big secrets (Salem’s Lot, Needful Things, Under the Dome)—King has built an entire universe where the strange, the spooky, and the downright terrifying lurk just beneath the surface of everyday life.
But he’s not just about scares—Stephen King is a master storyteller. His characters feel real, his plots are deeply human, and his stories often ask the big, unsettling questions about fear, hope, survival, and the darkness we all carry.
Whether you're braving Pet Sematary, getting lost in the epic Dark Tower series, or taking a suspenseful ride through Misery, Stephen King is the author who’ll grab you by the imagination—and never let go.
