One morning, Stompysaurus wakes from a happy dream, feeling excited for the new day, until things start to go a bit wrong. His brother's being a tease, his breakfast isn't his usual favourite and NOTHING is going right. His STOMPS and ROARS start rising inside him, until they EXPLODE!

But a tricky start doesn't have to mean a stompy finish. Can Stompysurus find a new way of looking at things and turn his day around?

About the Author:

Rachel Bright is the brilliant, big-hearted author behind some of the most beloved picture books on the shelves—where rhymes roll off the tongue, life lessons sparkle, and every page is filled with warmth and wonder. She’s the creator of bestsellers like The Lion Inside, The Koala Who Could, and The Worrysaurus, teaming up with illustrator Jim Field to bring powerful stories to life in the most playful way.

Before becoming a full-time author, Rachel was a copywriter, illustrator, and even a professional printmaker—so it’s no surprise her books are packed with clever words and vibrant ideas. Whether she’s writing about self-belief, bravery, kindness, or courage, Rachel’s stories always feel like a hug in book form.

Her books are perfect for bedtime snuggles, classroom storytime, or anytime your little one needs a reminder that they are brave, unique, and wonderfully enough—just as they are.

If you love rhyming tales with big messages and even bigger heart, Rachel Bright is an absolute must-read.
