About the Author:
Chris Bradford doesn’t just write about heroes—he trains like one too! Author of the explosive Young Samurai, Bodyguard, and Soul series, Chris blends real-life martial arts mastery with thrilling storytelling that keeps readers on the edge of their seats (and maybe practicing ninja moves in their bedroom).
Before becoming a bestselling author, Chris was a professional musician, but he swapped guitars for black belts—and now he's a qualified black belt in several martial arts, including samurai swordsmanship (yes, that’s a thing, and yes, he’s awesome at it). When he says he writes “action with authenticity,” he means it.
His books are fast-paced, packed with danger, and led by brave, sharp, seriously skilled characters—whether it’s a young warrior in ancient Japan, a teen bodyguard protecting VIPs, or someone fighting battles of the heart and soul.
Chris also tours schools around the world with live-action author events that include real martial arts demos—basically, he’s part writer, part warrior, and 100% adrenaline.
If you love action, honor, courage, and just a hint of danger… Chris Bradford is your ultimate literary sensei.
