About the Author:
Jeff Kinney is the legendary laugh-maker behind Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the mega-popular series that turned middle school mishaps into global reading gold. With his iconic stick-figure style and spot-on sense of humour, Jeff introduced the world to Greg Heffley—a slightly awkward, snack-loving underdog who's just trying to survive school, siblings, and social disasters one hilarious entry at a time.
But Jeff isn’t just an author—he’s also a cartoonist, game designer, bookstore owner, and all-around creative genius who knows exactly what makes kids laugh (and groan in total secondhand embarrassment). Since Diary of a Wimpy Kid first hit shelves in 2007, it’s exploded into a worldwide phenomenon with millions of books sold, blockbuster movies, and a whole new generation of readers hooked on hilarious storytelling.
Whether Greg’s dodging bullies, dreaming of fame, or just trying to make it through gym class, Jeff Kinney’s books are packed with laughs, life lessons, and loads of relatable chaos.
If you love your reading with a side of doodles and a big helping of funny, Jeff Kinney is the ultimate go-to guy.
My son is absolutely loving it. We had it on pre-order for months, since he heard about it, and has been anxious waiting and waiting. Wish the pre-order deliveries would arrive faster than the shelves.
The 3 copies I ordered for the school library were delivered at 8:15 on the day of publication. Well done.
