The Blue, Air, Ride series is about Iris, a girl who lives in a town where people love to surf. Iris has to deal with love, friendship and the hard things that come with growing up. In Blue, Iris has a great summer where she falls in love for the first time and learns a lot about herself. She meets this surfer named Zeke, who's very good at what he does and kind of mysterious. When Iris and Zeke start spending time, they really like each other. It is like a romance.. Iris also has to think about the people she used to care about and the new things that are happening in her life.
In Air, Iris and Zeke go to places to surf in competitions. They have to deal with a lot of pressure. It is not easy. They have secrets. They have to trust each other. It is hard for them to balance what they want to do with their love for each other.
The last book, Ride, is really exciting and emotional. Iris has to make some decisions about what she wants to do with her life, like whether she wants to keep surfing and what she wants to do with her relationships. What I thought:
Blue is a sweet book for young people that takes place in a beautiful town by the ocean. The story of Iris and her summer with Zeke is really emotional. They learn a lot about themselves. They also have a lot of fun surfing. The book does a good job of describing the beach, and Blue is a story that is all about love and friends and getting to know yourself better. There are some parts that're a little predictable, but the people, in the story and the way it makes you feel are really nice, and that is why Blue is such a great book to read.
Air keeps telling the story of Iris and Zeke as they compete in surfing. This helps them learn about love, trust and growing up. The setting by the ocean is still very clear. Iris and Zeke face problems that put their relationship to the test. Some of the drama gets pretty intense. The feelings they show make it interesting to read. The ocean setting helps make their story feel real. Iris and Zekes' relationship is tested in ways. They learn to deal with their emotions. Their love and trust for each other grow.
The story of Ride is about Iris and Zeke. They are on a journey. This journey is not about surfing. It is also about how they feel and the choices they make in life.
